FOOTHILLS RAILS-TO-TRAILS COALITION

The Foothills Trail serves as the “spine” of the Pierce County Trail System, running through the communities of Buckley, Carbanado, Wilkeson, South Prairie, Enumclaw, Orting and Puyallup. The Foothills Rails-to-Trails Coalition works for the development and maintenance of former railroad-way trails to connect communities, provide safe access for outdoor actives promoting health and fitness, establish “green” transportation corridors, preserve and protect the environment, and promote economic revitalization and historic preservation for the communities we serve.
