CELEBRATE TRAILS DAY – TREE PLANTING (Morning Session)

April 26 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

- FREE

On Celebrate Trails Day—April 26, 2025—in partnership with Pierce County Parks and with funding from the Washington Department of Natural Resources—we’re rallying our amazing volunteers to plant 200 native trees in an area currently devoid of tree cover and overrun with invasive Himalayan blackberry.

This 20,000-foot stretch between the East Puyallup Trailhead and McMillin Trailhead desperately needs restoration to provide essential shade, improve wildlife habitat, and enhance overall trail conditions. By replacing invasive species with native trees, we’re ensuring a healthier, more sustainable landscape for generations to come.

No experience? No problem! We’ll provide hands-on training, tools, and refreshments to fuel your hard work.
