Whether you are a trail user, supporter or advocate, you can join in on this virtual advocacy day for parks, trails and outdoor recreation funding with the the Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) ! It’s a chance for everyone, even new advocates, to talk with legislators about the importance of the outdoors.
The WWRP is asking for $150 million to protect working lands, wildlife habitat, and create more outdoor recreation opportunities.
Feeling nervous about your first time advocating to a legislator? No worries, we will offer training sessions before the big day to help out with that!
