Ken was a dependable and hardworking trail steward, often recognized for his hands-on contributions to maintenance and construction. He regularly volunteered for cleanup days and was mentioned in Trail Line News for his consistent on-the-ground support. Ken embodied the Coalition’s community spirit and commitment to keeping the trail beautiful and safe. For many years, Ken took on the challenging and time-consuming task of scheduling volunteers to staff the Trail Coalition’s information booth for the three-week run of the Puyallup (Western Washington) Fair.
